Metal Gear for the NES is a classic stealth action-adventure game developed by Konami, where players step into the shoes of Solid Snake, a FOXHOUND operative. Tasked with infiltrating the militarized state of Outer Heaven, Snake must destroy the Metal Gear, a nuclear-armed bipedal tank, and rescue fellow agents. Players navigate through levels avoiding detection, which triggers “Alert Mode” and heightens tension as Snake must elude enemy sight.
