Not all of us have easy access to an open field, a ball, and enough people, so we have to resort to playing soccer in other ways, like in Soccer Stars. This is a version of table soccer that may not be as well known as the usual. You won't find model players attached to bars and spinning over the ground. Instead, you've got something similar to an Air Hockey setup, but everything is the puck except for the ball. All the players are sliding pucks trying to kick a ball into the opposing goal, but also using shuffleboard mechanics. Slide into the soccer ball and become a star. About Soccer Stars Table games are popular additions to any rec room, game hall, or local hangout, but they can be quite cumbersome which is why we have video game versions. This game is a fairly faithful recreation of a sliding soccer game. It's nothing like soccer which is much faster and the average viewer may have trouble keeping track of the ball. This is a much more strategic take on the sport where each player gets as much time as they want to plan their shot and move their players around. It's not quite Chess, but it has similar elements and adapting your strategy as the field changes. How to Play Soccer Stars is a 2.5D top-down table soccer game about sliding discs around to knock around a ball by using the mouse. When it's your turn, you can slide your player disease around by moving the cursor to one, holding the Left Mouse Button, and dragging it in whatever direction to determine its power and trajectory. The goal is to score more points than the opposing team by getting the goal into the opposing goal. Kicks go in turns, with you and the opponent taking time to slide one puck around the table.
