Use the arrow keys to move Mathman around the screen. Avoid the ghosts and eat the dots to raise your score. To beat the ghosts eat a “?” dot. You’ll get an equation on the bottom of the screen and can only eat the ghost with the number that solves the equation. You only have three chances to complete each round - so make sure your math is correct before going after a ghost! Mathman Tips & Tricks Eat your fill. Challenge yourself to try and collect all the dots on the board before defeating the last ghost. Eating the dots will give your total score a boost and also gives a fun extra challenge to each level. Watch the ghosts. The ghosts will follow you around the board. When you eat a “?” dot, you’ll get the advantage over one ghost, but make sure you’re keeping an eye on the others as you move so you won’t get trapped! PEMDAS. Remember the order of operations? When solving one of the equations, you’ll want to keep ‘PEMDAS’ in mind: multiplication before division, division before addition and subtraction is last. These equations get trickier and trickier as you move on and you’ll need to think fast to defeat the ghosts! What You Learn From Playing Mathman Mathman provides players with a fun way to brush up on basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Players will have to use their knowledge of order of operations to solve each equation in order to move along the levels.
